Lunch: Traditional Kongu Feast

Late Morning: Gass Forest Museum
Located within the Forest College campus, this is one of India’s oldest museums. It’s a bit of a hidden gem featuring everything from preserved wildlife to rare timber.
Lunch: Sree Annapoorna or at Sree Gowrishankar. You cannot leave Coimbatore without eating here. Order the Ghee Roast Dosa and a Filter Coffee. The sambar here is so legendary it practically has its own fan club.
In the late afternoon: Perur Pateeswarar Temple
This 1,500-year-old temple is a masterclass in Dravidian architecture. The “Kanaka Sabha” (Golden Hall) features intricate stone carvings that will make your phone’s camera roll very happy.
Evening: Marudhamalai Hill Temple
End your day at this hilltop temple dedicated to Lord Murugan. The drive up offers a cooling breeze and a panoramic view of the city lights.
End the day with Race Course Road:This is where Coimbatore’s elite come to walk, talk, and eat. The walking track is lined with trendy cafes like The French Door or That’s Y Food. It’s the perfect place for a relaxed dinner.

Day 3
Coimbatore is the gateway to the Western Ghats. For your final day, choose the adventure!
The Waterfalls & Dams (Pollachi Route)Siruvani Waterfalls:

Known for having some of the “sweetest water in the world.” You’ll need to take a forest department van to reach the falls.
Aliyar Dam: A massive reservoir with a beautiful park at the base. If you have time, drive up to the Monkey Falls nearby.
Finally, in the evening, return to the city and do shopping at R.S. Puram for authentic cotton and silk sarees.
Walk down T.V. Swamy Road for local boutiques and jewellery, or head to Brookfields Mall if you want some AC and international brands.
